Device Repair Service Diagnostic & Repair Policy
Diagnostic Process

Tech Viking will first perform a full hardware and software diagnostic to identify the device’s issue. Once the diagnostic is complete, you will be contacted with clear repair options. We always attempt to repair existing components whenever possible before recommending replacement parts.
If replacement parts are required, all costs—including parts and shipping—will be disclosed and approved by you before any repair work begins.

Pricing & Repair Authorization​
If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee of $80 is waived and the service is billed at a flat $130 labor rate, plus the cost of parts and shipping.

Declining the Repair​
If you choose not to proceed with the repair due to part cost or overall device condition, the diagnostic is billed at $80, which includes free FedEx Ground return shipping.
***In some cases, Tech Viking may offer to purchase your device for parts.
Included With Your Device Repair
Your completed repair service includes the following at no additional charge:

Hardware & Firmware Updates (BIOS / Firmware Flashing)
​ We ensure your system is updated with the latest firmware versions, hardware driver & microcode updates, BIOS releases to improve system stability, compatibility, and performance.

Internal & External Cleaning
Your device receives a thorough cleaning of internal components and external surfaces. This includes removal of accumulated dust and debris that can obstruct airflow, reduce cooling efficiency, or contribute to long-term hardware failures.
