         - Payment details (processed securely through third-party providers)

         - We do not sell or trade your information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

         - Provide computer repair and technical support

           - Contact you about your service request

           - Send invoices or receipts

         - Improve our services and communication

         - Maintain internal records

 

3. Data Handling & Security

We treat customer data with strict care. Your files and personal data are only accessed when required for repair, backup, or data recovery. We do not review, copy, or store personal files unless required to complete the service you requested. Any temporary data used for repair is deleted immediately after the job is completed. We use secure systems and tools for communication, invoicing, and storage.

           - Form submissions on our website

Because Tech Viking works directly with hardware and data: We handle your files only as needed to complete your service. We do not open, review, or browse your personal content unless necessary for diagnosis or recovery. You are responsible for keeping your own backups unless backup service is part of your request.

 

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve.

Any changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.

Idaho Consumer Data Practices addendum
 

Idaho does not currently enforce a comprehensive consumer privacy statute (as of 2025). Tech Viking follows standard U.S. best-practice requirements for data handling, transparency, and consent.

 

Law Enforcement Requests
If Idaho or federal authorities request data under lawful process, Tech Viking will comply only with valid subpoenas, warrants, or court orders.

 

Data Breach Requirements (Idaho Code § 28-51-104)
If a security breach exposes unencrypted personal information, Tech Viking will:

  • Notify affected Idaho residents as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Explain what data was exposed.

  • Provide steps customers can take to protect themselves.

  • Notify credit-reporting agencies if required.

 

Customer Rights (General Idaho Practice)
Idaho customers may request:

  • Information Tech Viking stores about them.

  • Deletion of their personal information when legally permissible.

  • Correction of inaccurate information.
